"How to convert mpeg to dvd format? i have various home videos that i want to save onto a dvd and watch it on my dvd player. the only problem is it is in mpg format. Is there a FREE program on the web that anyone can recommend? I need it to be easy enough to use and does not have a huge watermark or the time of the video cut short. can anyone give me a link ?"
"Can you burn MPEG to DVD, and have a DVD Player play it? So here is my story: I use BitTorrent and download games and movies to my PC. The problem is getting them to go from my Hard Drive to a DVD disc. What steps and mpeg to dvd converter do I have to use to complete this task?"
All is done! Just make sure that a blank DVD-writable disc is already in your DVD Writer. The software will indicate how long it will take to create a DVD. What you need to do is just rest with a cup of coffee, waiting.
Step 1
Download a free program called MPEG to DVD converter, Install it to your Windows PC, then launch it.
Step 2
At the bottom of the mpg to dvd burner, click the BROWSE button and choose a folder to save the finished ISO. Do not choose a folder that has anything in it, as the program will save over everything in the file. Once you've chosen a saving location, click "Add Title" in the upper right corner. Choose the MPEG-TS file you want to convert. It may take several minutes for it to import depending on big the file size is.
Step 3
Click 'Edit Title' and choose a name for the DVD that you're going to create, as well as choosing whether or not you want there to be chapters.
Step 4
Click 'Create DVD' when you're ready to make the video.
A dialog box will appear showing you each process of conversion. The entire process will take about two hours. Once finished, the program will launch a burning program for you to burn the files to a DVD.
